Bouncer's Dusky

Enjoy fishing on the 256 Bouncers Dusky, a fish-around cubby cabin cruiser with two 175 hp Evinrudes. Captain Bouncer Smith will take you out fishing on Biscayne Bay or on the Atlantic Ocean. Fly, spinning, plug casting and conventional tackle are all onboard the boat. Charters include tarpon, sailfish, snapper/grouper/cobia, tuna and shark. Capt. Adam Redford's Fishing and Wilderness Expeditions

Captain Redford conducts fishing trips in Biscayne Bay, the Everglades and Key Largo, including fishing on the shallow flats, back in the mangrove country, freshwater areas and in the channels around Miami and the Keys. He offers a basic flats skiff fishing trips in the Bay for either half-day or full-day outings, including instruction and information about the beautiful Bay environment. All types of fishing techniques are availablelive baiting, spin fishing, trolling and flyfishing. His boats can carry three passengers (plus the captain), but two are preferred. Try catching bonefish, permit, shark, barracuda and jack in the Bay. Night fishing trips (primarily for tarpon) are also offered in Biscayne Bay, around Miami or in the Card Sound area. Captain Derrick Parker

Captain Jim Weber

Capt. Jim Weber specializes in light tackle and fly fishing for Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit on the waters of Biscayne Bay and Biscayne National Park. Full, half day and evening charters are available. Primary launching points are Crandon Marina on Key Biscayne and Homestead Bayfront Park. Departures may also be arranged from Matheson Hammock and Black Point Marina. Capt. Weber trailers his Hell's Bay 17.8 Professional flats skiff and can accommodate two anglers comfortably. Caught Lookin Charters

Captain Jim Hobales, born and raised in South Florida, takes people out on the flats of Biscayne Bay to catch bonefish and permit. All fishing tackle is included in the charter. Specialties include light tackle sight casting, spin, plug, and fly tackle, and night-time trips for tarpon. The boat can hold up to three anglers. Trips run year round. Chasin Tail operates an 18-foot Action Craft Flats Master. Captain Mike Patterson is a licensed Everglades National Park guide. Corsair Sport Fishing

Cutting Edge

This private charter companys 46 foot boat can accommodate up to six people. The Cutting Edge mostly cruises into the ocean but is available for Bay fishing as well, especially during the winter when the mackerel are in season. Half-day and full-day charters are available. Funnybone Charters

Captain Joe Gonzalez fishes Biscayne Bay in his flats skiff Hughes Bonefisher. He mainly targets bonefish, tarpon, and permit but sometimes catches shark as well. Half-day fishing trips are available from August to December. Full-day trips are available year round. Night fishing trips can be arranged. Light Tackle Fishing with Captain Bill Curtis

Captain Bill Curtis can take up to two people out fishing on Biscayne Bay aboard his 17.5 Mako flatsboat. He fishes for bonefish, tarpon and permit, with occasional opportunities to catch jackfish, ladyfish, snapper and grouper in the channels. Captain Kenneth Collette specializes in shallow water site fishing. He also takes people on general bottom fishing trips. Monster Fishing with Mark the Shark

Mark the Shark takes passengers out aboard his 50 Hatteras, Striker-1, for half-day or full-day charters on Biscayne Bay or in the Atlantic. On the Flats with Captain Dave Sutton

Captain Dave takes anglers out in a Maverick Mirage HPX-V 17 foot shallow water skiff. He and his anglers fish the Bay for bonefish, permit, tarpon and snook. He specializes in light spinning tackle and fly fishing. Half-day, full-day or evening tours are available, and include tackle, bait and coolers. Reel Time Sport Fishing

Reel Times 40 sport fishing boat can hold up to six people for deep sea or Bay fishing, or swimming, snorkeling or sightseeing cruises. Reward Fishing Fleet

Reward offers daily fishing trips and private charters. Daily trips provide rod, reel, bait and tackle. The boat goes two to three miles offshore from the Miami Beach Marina. Anglers have a chance to catch kingfish, dolphin and sailfish. Three trips daily are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., from 1:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The night trip usually targets snapper and grouper. You may bring your own cooler or enjoy food from their full-service galley. Private charters and full catering services are also available.
